BEECHCRAFT KING AIR 350

The Beechcraft King Air is an iconic aircraft in its class, known for its versatility and outstanding reliability. These qualities make it exceptionally well-suited for Wermlandsflyg’s wide range of operations. The aircraft is used worldwide and, like Wermlandsflyg’s other platforms, provides a proven and dependable base for carrying cameras, sensors, and measurement equipment.
Wermlandsflyg’s Beechcraft King Air 350 has been modified by Avcon Industries in Newton, KS, and equipped with a camera hatch featuring a clear opening of 25 x 25 inches. The camera window has a specially designed anti-reflective coating with high transmissivity in the 1064-nanometer range, meeting the latest requirements for both large-format digital cameras (>375 megapixels) and LiDAR/laser measurement systems.
For maximum fuel and route efficiency, the aircraft is certified for operation in RVSM airspace up to 35,000 ft. It is also fully approved for flight in icing conditions and capable of LPV (GPS) approaches.

All individuals are equipped with 21-25 inch diameter camera glass of optical quality that have a special anti-glare coating with high transmissivity in the range of 1064 nanometers to meet both the latest requirements for large format digital cameras (> 400 Megapixels) and LIDAR / laser measurements at the same time.
Fully approved for flight in known-icing conditions and capacity for LPV (GPS) approaches.
